The symposium was moderated by J. Michael Dash, Professor of French at New York University and the author of a number of books on Haiti including Literature and Ideology in Haiti, Haiti and the United States and Culture and Customs of Haiti . The panel included visual artist Vladimir Cybil Charlier, singer and songwriter Pauline Jean, poet and social critic Patrick Sylvain, and painter Didier William. |
